EPCOT® PROGRAMS
(3 hour programs)

DISNEY’S OCEAN DISCOVERIES (4th – 10th grade)
Participate in a study of the largest artificial coral reef environment in the world. Students explore an incredible re-created Caribbean environment to gain insight into coral reef preservation, marine mammal awareness and fisheries conservation. A visit backstage showcases the diversity of life that exists in this six million gallon “ocean”.

SYNERGY IN SCIENCE (2nd – 8th grade)
Take an in-depth exploration of the interaction between creativity and technology. By studying lasers, 3-D imaging, fiber optics and flight simulators, students discover the “magic” behind entertainment technology and its application to daily life.

DYNAMICS OF TECHNOLOGY (9th – 12th grade)
New products and inventions serve as a backdrop for a revealing look into the world of Science and Technology. Students discover how imagination and ingenuity lead to innovations that can fulfill the wants and needs of humankind, today and tomorrow.

MAGIC BEHIND THE SHOW (6th - 12th grade)
During this entertainment adventure, students play improvisational games, study a live performance and come to know one another as members of a creative team. Using their new knowledge, they apply newly learned skills in their own unique improvisational production.

DISNEY’S LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE: “The Inside Track” (9th - 12th grade)
Tomorrow’s business leaders see how effective leadership produces innovation. Students discover proven management strategies employed within the Walt Disney Company and identify tactics they can adapt to help promote their own personal success.

MAKING WAVES WITH A MARINE CAREER

(11th - 12th grade)

Your students will discover the wild and wet world of marine careers.  Students will "submerge" themselves into the fields of marine mammal training, water chemistry, aquarium and animal care, resesarch and conservation education.

MILLENNIUM CULTURES (5th – 12th grade)
The culturally authentic pavilions of Epcot World Showcase & the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration serve as a backdrop for interactive studies of people and places around the world. Student groups will take a look ahead at the diverse cultural landscapes of the future and consider the wide ranging implications of globalization. This exciting program will introduce students to ambassadors of cultural heritage in the Millennium Village.

MAGIC KINGDOM® PROGRAMS
(3 hour programs)

DISNEY’S WORLD OF PHYSICS: Properties of Motion (3rd – 12th grade)
Explore the physics concept of the basic properties of force, motion, and gravity at select Magic Kingdom attractions.

DISNEY'S WORLD OF PHYSICS: Energy and waves

(3rd - 12th grade)

This interactive adventure showcases the physics concepts of optics, acoustics, and magnetism in a real world concept.

THE AMERICAN STORY (2nd – 12th grade)
Live the rich history of the United States of America through the stories and setting of the attractions in Liberty Square and Frontierland.

HOW THINGS MOVE (K - 2nd grade)

Young learners will discover the principles of how things move in select Magic Kingdom attractions.

ANIMAL KINGDOM™ PROGRAMS
(3 hour programs)

BACKSTAGE SAFARI* (11th - 12th grade)

*Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only.

Go behind the scenes to get a look at the creative ways Disney's Animal Kingdom scientists and animal-care staff are handling complex issues such as animal care, nutrition, conservation, and behavioral studies.

DISNEY’S WILD BY NATURE (4th– 10th grade)
Explore the fascinating and surprising world of animal behavior. Through animal observations, data collection, hands-on activities and discussion, students learn how discoveries in animal behavior are helping us preserve and manage critically endangered species and habitats.

TEAM UP FOR WILDLIFE (6th – 10th grade)
Join the team of Disney’s Animal Kingdom scientists to study animal research challenges, communication, management and conservation decisions. Students use the scientific method and problem-based learning to develop an action plan for a real-life conservation dilemma. This hands-on program takes place backstage and inspires students to play a more active part in the protection and preservation of wildlife and wild places.

 

DISNEY-MGM STUDIOS PROGRAMS
(3 hour programs)

DISNEY’S PRODUCTION ARTS & SCIENCES (3rd – 12th grade)
Acting as makers and marketers of visual media, learn how technologies, techniques and storyboarding are shaping and influencing today’s media and audiences of all ages. By exploring the unwritten language of images through digital photography and the art of editing, students discover the relationship between passive and active viewership.

DISNEY’S ANIMATION MAGIC (3rd– 12th grade)
Embark on a voyage to discover how mathematics and storytelling are vital to the success of the animation process. Hands-on activities and authentic Disney production artwork are integrated with state-of-the-art Disney attractions in this program. These elements serve as the foundation for students to demonstrate creative problem solving skills as they create pre-production storyboards.

DISNEY’S CAREER DISCOVERY (6th – 12th grade)
Students discover the “real world” importance of management, training and communication in navigating a career path.

TROPICAL CONNECTIONS (3rd - 12th grade)

Discover rain forest ecology in an authentic Florida swamp ecosystem.  Participants will discover the amazing diversity of plants and animals which exist in tropical wetlands.  They will also learn conservation techniques they can apply right here in their own country which will help save our declining rain forests worldwide.

FLORIDA STORY (3rd - 8th grade)

Journey back in time to Florida's enriching past.  Here you'll discover the people, the vegetation, and the environment of this unique state.  Participants will meet characters and participate in fun activities while learning how early inhabitants lived and survived.

RANCH ENCOUNTER (2nd grade)

Spend a "day on the ranch" at Disney's Tri-Circle-D Ranch.  Participants take a hay ride, pony ride, visit a barn and have hands-on animal encounters!

SHOWBIZ MAGIC AT La Nouba
