the land of enchantment and fantasy.

opportunities for outstanding groups from the United
States and around the world.
Future World March
Bands march into the 21st Century and present a stand-up

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
In order for your application to be processed, the Walt
Disney World Resort must receive an original application
(no copies, please) and the following audition materials.
- A recent, non-returnable photograph of your group
in the costume or uniform to be worn for their
DISNEY performance.
- A brief, non-returnable audio cassette, video tape, or DVD
recording of your group performing the style of
music they would use in their Disney performance. Please
do not send adjudication tapes. Note the Guidelines below
for “Audition Recording Requirements.”
- Show
choirs and dance ensembles are required to submit non-returnable
video tapes.
- Please label all recordings and photographs
with the name of your group.
AUDITION RECORDING REQUIREMENTS
At the beginning of the recording identify the name of the
group, director, city, state, and date recorded.
Audio Tapes
Use a new tape. Check the record level
to be certain that the audio playback is loud, but
not distorted.
Video Tapes
Use a high-quality, new cassette. VHS, ¾”,
and BETA formats are acceptable. Do not send an original,
one-of-a-kind tape. International applicants should submit
a ¾” video tape recorded at NTSC.
DVD Recordings
Check the record level to be certain that the playback is not distorted. Make sure that the video is in focus and gives a quality representation of your group.
Audition Recording Suggestions
Please record three short contrasting examples of the
style music you would present at Disney World. The
audiences in the WALT DISNEY WORLD Resort come from
many different backgrounds and have diverse musical
tastes. They respond favorably to popular and/or patriotic
selections. ALL SELECTIONS MUST BE SECULAR.
Please review the recording before submitting it to be certain
that it is a true representation of the quality and caliber
of your group.
Use a padded mailer to protect your tape.
Please submit your application packet (application and
audition material) in a single padded mailer at least
two and up to twelve months prior to your requested performance
date.
